We had their boneless wings, 10 each "Hot" and "Mardi Gras" flavored. They were outstanding - especially the Mardi Gras spiced boneless wings. We also split a "Build-a-Guiness-Burger" (6 0z for $4 to start with tomato & lettuce then $0.50-$1 per additional topping) with Pepper Jack cheese, grilled mushrooms & jalapenos. It was delicious. When I cut the burger in half, the juice just gushed out - so flavorful and moist! A very, very good burger. The price also included a side and we chose the curly fries. Not too shabby. I like my fries on the crunchy side and these were pretty decent. Most curly fries are overly greasy but these weren't so bad. This place is on the smaller side, but the service was exceptional and the prices phenomenal! A rather surprising draft selection too - I was very pleasantly surprised by their choices. I didn't have any wine, but noticed on their menu they seem to have a good selection in that category as well. I'd really suggest a stop at this hidden gem.

Burgers always are tasty and sweet potato tots are awesome. Alternating beer selection on tap. Owner very friendly when he is on site (just learned that was the previous owner). Complaints similar to others- too few tots and warm in restaurant. Burger is smaller than most places but okay for me

My wife and I both had the brew burger and overall it was a juicy burger. We typically eat burger well done and the medium well burger was really juicy. My wife's burger had a little bit of pink in it, but it was still tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful for our first time visit.

I got the Texas burger and I must say it was good. A little drenched in the sauce but nonetheless a mouthwatering burger. The fried egg and onion rings on top with the sweet sauce made the burger. It was cooked perfectly as we'll. The hand cut fries we're also very tasty. The restaurant smelled little funny but no complaints. Recommended.

Not a bad burger, pretty tasty. Just a little small. The price is right. I fed a family of 4 for under $30. Would've given it 4 stars if it was about 5-10 degrees cooler inside. After spending the day outside it would've been nice to enjoy the meal inside with cooler temperature. Maybe the A/C is broke, or maybe they're trying to save $ on energy. In any case, it needs to be cooler inside.

I just moved to St. Pete and was running errands when I drove by and saw this place. I wanted to grab a quick burger to take home, so I stopped! Had a beer while I waited and when I got home I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the California burger, it was juicy and delicious. The avocado was fresh, and perfect. The house salad dressing is incredible. I won't be searching for a burger joint in St. Pete anymore. This place is on point. (And they have beer on tap!!)

Our burgers were both overcooked (ordered medium, got well). Both burgers were supposed to have bacon and my boyfriend's had the middle crispy part of the bacon, and the just took the soft fatty ends off his bacon and put them on my burger. We were the only people in the place and after waiting a while with a totally empty glass, the server came back in from outside and brought a gust of cigarette smoke with him to our table.

I stopped in here to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. I had the pulled pork nachos which were ok but were lacking in nacho goodness, there just wasn't enough on the nachos. Nice selection of beers but the food seemed a little pricey for what i got, not the portions because there was a lot-to much to eat but i didn't get a takeaway box where as in most cases i would.

Read on to see why I rated them with 5 stars! We stopped in here after leaving the beach. Small but cool little hidden burger joint. We got their brew burger and veggie burger. They were tasty and fresh, you can practically watch them make it depending on where you sit. The servers were a young group of guys. They were friendly and laid back, not pushy servers. :-) Here's why I rated them 5 stars.. I noticed the cook not only thoroughly washed his hands but he also used gloves to cook and prepare the food! Then when he was done he removed them and washed his hands again. Talk about being clean and careful with food preparation. I appreciate that so much!

The Guinness burger is def a favorite! Everyone in the office loves it's smell! It has a unique, but delicious taste! All burgers can be made to order, so it's a great place for a picky eater! Another favorite are their onion rings! The rings themselves are beer battered. The dipping sauce (remoulade) makes it! A This is a decent place to grab a drink after work or to get a juicy burger at a decent/reasonable price. They also have a fair beer offering on tap!

Small burger and craft beer pub tucked away behind a busy 34th Street IHOP, Brewburger has a good concept going on. Not too big a menu, nice beer and wine list along with a few cider selections which pair nicely with the BBQ sandwich on the menu. There is the problem of planning. We came in at 6:00pm on a Saturday night and they were out of half of the beers on the list and only had one cider. But the staff's accommodating nature and attention to service made up for the beer issue. The burgers are hand made from a secret recipe with Guiness to add flavor. The patties are juicy and flavorful! They are generous and the toppings are top notch. The miss is on the sides. The onion rings have great flavor, but were a bit heavy and greasy. The fries had too much seasoning and didn't have the homemade taste the menu claims they are. It is the service and burgers that give them the extra points. Worth the trip.

Menus were pretty much useless since they had packed away most of the food already for the night. It was a friday at 8 PM. We finished our beers, paid, and left.

California burger was good but over cooked. Steer clear of the wings. They were horrible and when asked to have them take it off - the waitress said she couldn't because her boss would get mad...really?

Loved the service and loved the food will have to come back again soon. When I visited the cook was training the guy who usually takes orders on how to use the grill so it took a bit longer to get our food out to us.

Hadn't been here in a while and after a meeting I was glad when my friend suggested going here for a bite. We perused the beer board, which had a nice selection, fairly varied and decided on a couple brews. Found on the owner , who was hands on, had fairly recently acquired the place and made some improvements. We started with the fried green tomatoes and the wings, half hot half mild. The tomatoes were delicious, hot fresh , crispy, not greasy. Served with a nice spicy sauce. The wings were large, well done, good sauce. Everything is made to order so it might take a little longer then your typical "fast food" place but its certainly worth it. Lingered for another round and talked some more to the owner and decided we definitely have to come back to hit up their famous brewburger! Next time I'll skip the appetizer so I have plenty of appetite left for the main event.

Oye... I sometimes have a hard time with a review like this. Mama always said if you don't have something nice to say don't say it. If I abide by that my review ends after these statements. The beer selection is good, its cold and the staff is pleasant. The grill is in plain view and I watched in horror as beautifully pattied hunks of ground chuck were seared into oblivion. The concept of carryover is lost on the fella manning the grill. The fried bar food is battered and fried, period. No seasoning, no finesse crunchy greasy balls of goo... Fried green tomatoes, onion rings, chicken fingers it all tasted the same with a different texture. The burgers were way overcooked charcoal briquettes and for the love of Pete if you have a burger with fried egg on it you must understand that the point of the fried egg is to have a yolk that runs not a bound up mealy catastrophe. And medium rare does not mean well done and medium does not mean well done. So after an 80 dollar price tag, needless to say I will not go back here.

We have come a few time but today was likely our last time. The burgers are never consistent. The food can be really slow. They are now under new ownership and apparently that means they now give very few tater tots. Staff are not knowledgable on their beers either.

My wife and I had lunch here today and were disappointed with the food and the service. Our server was working very hard doing everything, even cooking. It took an inordinate amount of time to get our order in and to be served. I ordered the Brewburger medium temperature and it came out beyond well-done, and the patty was 50% of the size of the bun. There were 2 slivers of mushrooms and a teaspoon of grated cheese on the pathetic-looking patty. Having been to Engine 9, the Burg and TGI Friday's for their burgers, my baseline is well established. My wife had the pork sandwich. We had the fried green tomatoes first and they were too thick with corn meal, so thick they wouldn't cool. The poor tomatoes inside were purée when we were able to bite into them. Two iced teas (instant tea - yuk) and the rest cost us $28 before tip. This was perhaps our worst dining experience in St. Pete since we arrived over 2 1/2 years ago.

Brewburgers is a place that I would possibly consider going back to, but that would only be if several options didn't work out. That being said, I will preamble the review with stating I am not a beer drinker so this review is based only on food quality, service and environment. I will start with quality, I really did enjoy my burger that was in my opinion a little over priced, and the sweet potato tots were good, but I ordered medium rare and it was more like medium well. The server was very nice and accommodating, but lacked experience and for the first 3-5min we were sitting down without menus. We arrived at a fairly slow part of the day and it took about 30min to get all of our food prepared. I did like the chill environment but don't expect to seat a big party during peak hours, it is pretty small. As far as the restaurant goes it looked and felt clean, but the bathroom was pretty dirty. All in all I didn't hate the place but most likely will try something else next time I'm in the area.

Better than average burger tasted a little sour after they refused to honor the Creative Loafing deal I purchased. It had not expired. But apparently the new owner feels he doesn't have to accept them. Good fries. Just overpriced. Probably won't be back, but admittedly it's mostly because of the awkward ending to the meal.

  • Marqus R.

They do serve a good Guinness Burger, have a great selection of draft beers (love the deep dark robust flavored Spaten) and offer a good, generously large Caesar, I have to dissent from any opinion awarding anything close to the coveted Yelp Five Stars. For a good but no where near great burger I find myself being a fan of the place, giving it Four Stars, but more for being a sort of fun kind of divey place nestled between a Subway and an IHOP than for the quality or taste of its burgers.

  • Thomas A.

Solid burger (3.5 star burger rating) at a very good price. Not without some flaws though. The "Brewburger Secret Recipe" burger meat is extremely salty. I would skip that version next time and try the Guinness burger. Also, the "medium" here is way more into medium-well territory (I think this happens because they put the metal pots over the top of the burger to melt the cheese and it cooks an added few minutes during this process). I'd normally just go three stars, but the service was incredibly good (Billy?). And the sweet potato fries were out of this world and very unique. Better than fast food in any case, if you have a craving for a burger.

Looks like El Cap's has got some competition here... The burgers are GREAT! I had the classic version and was pleased that they would grill it medium rare, as many places won't. The sirloin is top quality and they cooked it just right! TI'm a big onion ring fan and was happy that he onion rings were also fab! Nice and thick, tasty batter and not too greasy. Thumbs up!

As many other reviewers have noted, this place may have once been great but not anymore. Lunch started off poorly when we were told my voucher from a deal site was not valid because Brewburger's had changed owners. This seemed a bit hard to believe since I only purchased it a week previously, but I guess it is possible. However, this info was not posted anywhere around the restaurant, so it just seemed like a sketchy way get people in the door. On to the actual food. I ordered a burger with lettuce, tomato, and bbq pork and sweet potato tots. Being a ~$10 burger from a place repping itself as the best burger around, I was expecting a huge, sloppy delicious mess. Instead, I got what looked to be a slightly oversized slider and 8 tater tots. 8. While the burger didn't impress in size or taste, the tots were pretty good. I could have (and should have been given the opportunity to) eat 3 times as many of those. Overall, the experience left me pretty disappointed and still hungry.

We decided to try this place because I found them on Groupon and per their Facebook page they said that they had one of my favorite beers on tap. Once we got there they didn't have that beer, they listed it incorrectly on their Facebook page and it was a completely different beer. We ordered our food and we waited for 30 minutes before it finally came. I have no idea what took so long because they only has 2 other tables and there were 3 people working. I ordered my burger medium rare and what I received was well done. It was dry and flavorless. My onion rings were cold. When I asked for sauce to dip them in I was told they were all out and didn't have any ingredients to make more. My kids liked their food and my husband said his food was ok. After we were done we waited another 15 minutes before she came back to give us our bill. I was very disappointed in this place since we drove 30 minutes for what we thought was a good beer selection and great burgers. I can make a burger at home 10 times better than what they served.

I was happily surprised on a recent visit to the new Brewburgers in south St. Pete. I had a terrible experience at the Tampa location. This poor experience was not repeated! I was lucky enough to attend on a day when the pulled pork nachos were on special. Amazing! I can also vouch for the Black and Blue Burger. The Portabello Stack was a nice vegetarian option. The waitress was friendly, and everything came out in a timely fashion.

Our family of 4 went there on a Monday night. The first thing I noticed was that it was very hot in the restaurant - it is June in Florida - restaurants need to be cool! We asked the waitress (who was very nice and attentive) if they could turn the air down a little when we placed our drink order. She brought the drinks and told us that she was told that the thermostat was set on 78. Clearly she was the messenger...but I was a little put off. When we left, I walked by the thermostat, which was indeed set at 78, but it was registering 84 degrees as the temperature! Way too hot. The apps were great. Great onion rings with a tangy, unusual dip. Three of us had burgers - they were ok, maybe a 6 out of 10. They were cooked medium, as we'd requested, but fairly small and just not that tasty. We also had wings, and I'd say they were mediocre as well. The fries and sweet potato tots were also really good, so I'd say if you want to go for a beer and some apps, and you don't mind warm temps, head on over! They had a decent microbrew selection as well, which is always much appreciated. Our waitress was very attentive, and had a great personality. I'd hire her any day! The service was good, food was served quickly, so thumbs up on service!

My sister and I went here for dinner last night and weren't that happy with the place. They had a special going for .50 wings and so we ordered 15 wings and their fried mushrooms. The mushrooms weren't that great. I don't recommend... The wings were alright but we didn't hate the food and didn't have a problem with that. We know they specialize in their burgers and heard that their burgers were what's popular. The service though and the lady working.. She almost had no clue what she was doing. She was all over the place! She told us we were getting .50 wings then went to give us the check after taking so long to make the check and it didn't have the special discounted price. The lady then took forever to give us new check. It was too much confusion for such a little bill. I recommend they update their system and their servers! I gave this place three stars because I was only really disappointed with the service and the food was ok.

Came with 5 adults, 3 kids and a baby. Not much room for a big group like that but we squeezed into the largest booth they had. Our waitress was VERY attentive and no one seemed to mind all the kids, however there weren't many others in the restaurant. One complaint was there was no large signage outside and we weren't sure where we were going. There was a small sign on the ground. It's in between Subway and I think IHOP. The food was ok. I wasn't overly impressed with my "Fat kid" burger. The onion ring was good, and the sweet potato tots were not bad. I LOVED that they had cider, even though it was the wrong kind listed on the menu..

We tried this for first time tonight. It was apparent they were way under staffed or had issues in kitchen. Only a handful of tables and it still took forever. Drinks remained empty. The loaded fries were NOT worth $7. All the fried food was nasty, tasted like it was cooked in old/ bad oil. I had to come home and promptly brush my teeth. I can't get the bad taste out of my mouth. Server apologized for slow service. Brought cheesecake as peace offering. Brought our checks with full amount, did take a *small* amount off when we questioned bill. I should have sent my food back and not paid anything. Would not return.

It is never a good sign to walk into a restaurant during prime dining time and be the only customers in the whole place. Despite being the only people in the place, the service was incredibly slow- our meals took over 25 minutes to arrive. I am not sure what the hold-up was since there wasn't much else for the employees to do at the time. Instead of looking like a laid back place, it gave off a distinct air of being disorganized and uncaring. If there are business matters to be discussed, I always think they should be behind closed doors where your customers cannot see or hear you- not right next to their table. Onto the food- The burger ordered was okay, but nothing special that I would have cravings for. The size was decent, and the veggie toppings were fresh. I would have liked the bacon to be crispy, what was on the burger was very greasy and soft like it had been cooked earlier and left to sit too long. Both of the people in my party ordered the onion rings as the side, and between the both of us we received nine smallish rings. I know they are not the healthiest things to eat, but I was jealous that he received five when I only got four. At least they were crispy since I believe they use a wet batter, but they were not seasoned at all. I gave this place another chance since the first time we went was after it just opened and they seemed to be going through the regular opening growing pains- but it seems like they just still haven't gotten everything worked out yet.

Went with a friend. Got two over spiced burgers, two orders again of over spiced tater tots and an order of fried yup...over spiced. Everything was absolutely horrible. Will not return. The bill was over 49$ and drank water

Grade D- Visited on a Tuesday for the $2 burger promotion. To be clear the burger is $2 from a variety of choices including the Guinness and the regular burger we tried. Any topping like cheese, mushroom, etc adds another $1 or so...still not a bad deal if it were good. The burger had this strange seasoning that was very unpleasant. The Guinness burger had a better flavor, but both were so small they hardly covered half the bun and were cooked way over the medium requested. Also tried the mozzarella sticks that were being promoted on the chalk board. They tasted freezer burnt and served with a small cup of ice cold sauce, not the best for dipping the luke warm cheese. A side of chicken wings were served with hardly any sauce and were rather small and flabby despite being ordered extra hot and crispy. The service was friendly and kept our drinks full. The space is very small, dark, and narrow with a small bar over looking the kitchen. Another issue is that this center has a very small parking lot although there is a large lot across the street.

We have a winner in South St. Pete. Great burgers. Worth the wait. Nice addition to the Pinellas Point Area. Run, don't walk to the sliver of a restaurant between the Subway and IHOP entrance to Broadwater neighborhood. Like the menu, love the service, clean and upbeat. Hubby had the Piggyback burger and he would eat one once a week, but his cardiologist would have a fit. I loved the world renowned "brewburger" now. And sweet potato tater tots that would only be better with a sweet chili garlic aoili dipping sauce. Such a nice surprise to find a sweet tater tot!!! Dan and staff have done a great job.

Just went for lunch. The burgers were excellent but the fries were so so. Beer selection is evolving but right now they don't have any American craft beers and no IPA's. I will go back. They are in the process of getting the sign on the front of the building. Right now it is easy to drive by without seeing it.

Delicious! A definite must try. :-) Burgers are hand pattied and with every specialty burger ($7) you get a pick of one of their side dishes. We were pretty impressed with this place because most places charge you an extra buck or two for a side item other than fries. Here you have the option between.. curly fries, cole slaw, tator tots, onion rings, etc... I ordered my burger medium rare and it came exactly that. **Also $2 burgers on Tuesday nights after 6pm! Met the owners.. very nice and seemed to really care! Try it and you won't regret it.

Ummm.... this place is amazing! On vacation in St. Pete Beach and wanted a yummy burger and this place hit the spot! I got the Black & Blue Burger (best I've ever had!) and my husband got the Texas Burger. Both were amazing, the meat was so juicy and perfect and the flavors & textures meshed so well! The sweet potato tots are so unique and addicting, both to us & our baby! I will definitely be going here on future trips to FL. The staff was super kind and helpful and they made it a great experience as well.

This place was great when they first started out but they have since changed. The burgers and fries used to be perfect but they switched suppliers or decided to cut on ingredients because they are sub par now. I also think that they changed their entire method of operation from staff to menu items. One of the most disappointing alterations was in their fries. This page went from being my favorite new burger joint to a place that I now avoid. Very unfortunate : (
